Support removed for ‘Classic Modeller’ UI

This UI is now the supported view for the model canvas UI.

Please note that work is underway to update documentation that uses the old model canvas UI.

Mini icons on nodes

Mini icons now appear on task and subflow nodes for Rules, Test Data Assignments, Tags, and the Positive / Negative node flag. These act as visual cues so you can easily see which nodes have certain properties applied to them, without needing to click into the node.

Note that some icons will not appear until you save the model.

GitHub / GitLab / BitBucket connectors have pull request options

These connectors now all have the same functionality. Updated the authentication methods, integration steps, and added the ability to create a pull/merge request in each tool, instead of pushing generated Modeller code directly to a branch.

Custom page object templates

You can now add custom page object identifier templates to your custom automation frameworks.

Below you will see an example of how these are implemented for a Java framework.

These custom identifier methods will also appear in the Quality Modeller Web Extension:

Upgraded backend Postgres db

For customers who host their own database separately. The backend database used by the Curiosity platform has been upgraded from Postgres 11 to 16.

Old Postgres versions will be out of support from Q3 2025.
