Configuring the Native Job Engine

In this article, we'll cover how to configure the Curiosity platform to leverage a newly installed Native Job Engine. 

1. Standard Modeller Activities (On-Premise)

The job engine can be used to route all Connector, Path Generation, and QuickStart Automation Execution jobs which would normally be handled by our Docker Job Engine.

For cloud deployments, contact the Curiosity Support team and we'll be happy to configure your server for you. This is for administrators of an on-premise Quality Modeller environment.

To switch the default job engine leveraged. You can go to the admin portal. Then navigate to the Workspaces tab. Select the relevant workspace, and expand it.

Here you can enter the server name to leverage for each of the corresponding tasks.

2. Automation Framework

When configuring a new Automation Framework, in the execution settings screen you can select your new execution server.
