# Jira - Requirements

[Jira](https://www.atlassian.com/software/jira) is a widely utilized project management tool designed to track issues, tasks, and project progress, often serving as the source of truth for user stories in agile development workflows. Quality Modeller capitalizes on this central role of Jira by offering robust integration capabilities. Using a dedicated connector, Quality Modeller can import user stories directly from Jira, transforming these into models for testing. This integration streamlines the transition from requirement gathering to test model creation, enhancing efficiency and maintaining traceability throughout the process.

Simultaneously, Quality Modeller's integration extends to exporting models back to Jira as user stories. This export function means that the detailed models created within Quality Modeller can be communicated back to the project management context in a clear and meaningful format. As a result, the broader project team has visibility into the testing process and can better understand how testing aligns with the user requirements. This seamless and bi-directional exchange between Quality Modeller and Jira enhances the transparency and consistency across the entire development and testing lifecycle. It helps teams maintain continuity, reduce gaps between requirements and testing, and increase their overall effectiveness in delivering high-quality software.

Quality Modeller is Curiosity's flow-driven model-based tool which provides a range of accelerators and connectors for building flowcharts rapidly. This includes importers for existing requirements and test cases, as well as recordings and scans of already built systems. These accelerators are designed to significantly reduce the time and technical knowledge needed to model complex systems, unlocking the value of model-based test automation.A Project in Quality Modeller represent the current collection of work the user is working on. Users can create multiple Projects within Quality Modeller and switch between them at any time, this can be used to manage Models and User Teams.A Model is a canvas and the Flow that is built onto it. There are several types of Model, some of which display different tabs and tools on the toolbar in Quality Modeller.
