# File Structure Diagrams - New Feature

We've introduced File Structure Diagrams to the Data Dictionary, which allows you to see a visual representation of the data structures you're using. These diagrams allow you to better understand message structures.

Additionally, you can make edits to your data structure directly in the visual diagrams, such as adding validation rules. File Structure Diagrams are just the beginning and will be expanded on drastically in the coming months and will be the new way to manage, understand and generate message structures.
